Simplicity

Simplicity is an reversed pressed grating. Instead of pressing the crossbars in the upper part of the bearingbars they will pressed in the bottom of the crossbars. Between the crossbars are wooden parts assembled which are 1 mm lower. This way you get a plank bridge-grating® which looks like a plankbridge but with the anti-slip function of a pressed grating. The plank bridge-gratings® can be used on roofs, waterwarf, but also on a hardened underground as square finishing.

Wooden part

With plank bridge-gratings® you can use a lot of different at. Depending of the application and location can be choosen for FSC wood with sustainability class 1 like Cumara for example, but also a less durable type such as Western Cedar is applicable. Las-Pers can help you with your choice. The lifespan of the plank bridge-gratings® depends of the chosen kind of wood, but since the plank bridge-gratings® lie in parts is the exchange of worn out or damaged wooden parts relatively simple.

Pressed grating

The bearingbars are (depending of the load and span) strips of 50 or 60 mm of height and 4 mm thick on a distance of 111,11 mm centre to centre. On the upperside of the strip is made anti-slip by notching. This is necessary to get a anti-slip function (see photo). The crossbars are 20 or 30 mm of height and 3 mm thick on a distance of 66,66 mm centre to centre. The border is depending of application carried out as bearingbar or crossbar, so that the plank bridge-grating® parts fit together and has the appearance of an optical whole.
